How do you
feel when you are first time to be parent? The moment of first time to see the
stomach become bigger and bigger, the first time to feel that the baby movement
in stomach, the first time to step into the shopping mall just to shop for the clothes
for own baby, the first time keep counting day by day to wait for the arrival
of the new baby…
Here is the
first time I have a photo session with a pair of the new parent wanna be… my
cousin Louis and his wife, Celine. The photo session was taken during the 7th
month of Celine’s pregnancy. There was a Sunday afternoon when I arrived their
home at Juru, while waiting for Celine to have some preparation, I had a chat
with Louis to know more of the latest news of them. After Celine had done her
preparation, we all were going to the master room… in the room, they had
printed out some of the cute babies photo which was search from internet and
stick on the wall, as the believe that if the mom is keep seeing the pretty
babies’ photo will help on keeping a good mood so that her baby will also be
pretty and healthy when birth. They already shop for the baby’s clothes, hat
and some baby’s equipments to welcome the new family member.
The photo
session is not like the usual portrait photo shooting, base on the pregnancy,
the mom couldn’t pose too much or too over, but the best thing is the reaction of
the first time mother to care on the baby during her pregnancy, the connection
of both husband and wife when talking to each other with caring, and the feel to
wait for the moment comes true, to welcome the new baby in two more months for
their first time, how excited and lovely they are….
