Celebrating: Jerry & Ming Wai

Quite some time I was not updating this blog due to a lot of busy stuff lately…well, is time to dig back the story behind…
During January I was booked by a pair of lovely friends to snap for their wedding at Pangkor and Sitiawan… I knew Jerry since I join my previous company, and consequently knew Ming Wai during our big group (my ex-colleagues group) outings; they are pretty friendly and funny…after long run relationship and finally they decided to marry and sharing their life each other……
The night before their big day, I was travel down from Penang to Sitiawan to Jerry’s home with a buddy, Kok Leong (our big group member as well) who willing to try for wedding event photo shooting. When the time meeting Jerry, we had a short discussion on his big day schedule and also the item that will need to concern at the next day, then after that we check in to the hotel room that booked by Jerry, what a nice plan for us…
When came to the morning of the ceremony, Kok Leong was going to cover some preparation scene at groom side and I rush to Marina Bay to take ferry to Pangkor island. Ming Wai was really caring whether I manage to ride on the ferry and have a phone call for confirmation the expected time that I could arrive… while arriving the island, the scenery there was really pretty and specially, the taxi were pink color vans, that is so cool and just wonder if the taxi van is one of the iconic scene of Pangkor…After few minutes, Ming Wai’s cousin had arrived in a Kembara and pick me up to her home…

Once I saw Ming Wai was in the make up session, she was excited and nervous, and her family members, bride mate and “sisters gang” were busy on the ceremony preparations and seems like everyone are rushing…once she done wearing her beautiful gown I was manage to gather the “sisters gang” to spend a little bit fun time right before the groom arrives…well they are funny and quite corporative and let me to capture some funny scene and also a good moment for Ming Wai to release some tension and nerve…
The horning sounds from outside triggering that the warriors of groom side had arrived, and the sisters gang also trying so hard to setup some blockage to defend the attack of the warriors, lots of fun and challenges but the warriors were helping the groom to overcome it 1 by 1, and finally the prize is the most romantic moment of life… “Groom, you may kiss the bride!!!” another unforgettable and touching moment during the ceremony was, when the time that the couple serve the traditional tea to their parent, the bride and her mom were crying in happiness…may be the mom seems over happy to see her daughter was growing up and start to setup her new family with the guy that she loves and let the guy to take care of her… and yeah, Jerry is a good man as we knew him, a funny and dependable man, and is the time for him to spend his life together with this lovely lady, and is the time to upgrade to another mature level, and thousands of greeting and congrats to this lovely couple on their love story to be continued to a brand new chapter…cheers!!!
