The portraiture session is invited by the Leo and Wendy, there are a little rain at noon time and the session almost canceled, but luckily the sun was coming out to shine up the evening…when we reached the 32 de Mansion, the guard of the mansion came out to welcome us, is a cutie dog!!! It was so friendly and kept turning around us…by the way, I was just attending my friends’ wedding at the night before, and the environment inside the mansion is pretty good and romantic!!! For this outing, we focused at the outside area; there is a small garden with the small hut at the garden to let the customers having a garden hi-tea. The sunshine that day is yellowish soft but shining, it is quite nice and pretty suit as the lighting for portraiture shots. Also because of that, we where keep trying the back light flare style… the “trademark” of Leo…haha!!! (Well, Leo can be said is the master of “flare” portraiture shooting among us, as he is so crazy about that)

The whole session I was just using my 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, but I try to step down to f/2.8 to get sharp image of my subject and the background is soft enough to me…I was moving around to catch the natural side of Sheue Yen while she posing for others, but she really done well in connection with camera, plus the poses she made tells that she is quite experience for portraiture shooting, cool…since her boy friend was there, and I would like to try out the couple photographing, so we just suggest her boy friend to pose together with her, and of cause, at the beginning they were a little bit shy, but after a while, they just get into the mode of dating… they hang together, played and watched to each other…the eyes contact they made is pretty true and sweet…that’s the part of over all is the most challenging that I feel, posing can be purposely, but the feel when the moment that a real couple looking into each other is pretty hard to fake…
