~this would be the last portraiture outing of 2011, as when i was taking year end vacation leave back to my home town Perlis for a week, Emelyn, she became my guest to visit my hometown for couple of days, and we having fun on portraiture photographing...
oh yea, she is not a so call "professional" model, but she has a kind of positive energy from her smile to shine up people's day, and this all are so natural and can't be posed purposely!! (Although she not really believe it...)
another memorable thing from this time photo outing is....this is the FIRST time i had a portraiture photo outing at my home town!!!! finally!!!

thanks to Emelyn on filling up my boring year end leave with this funny outing!!
The photo session is the held at what a so call famous location and scene as it was the scene taken in the 2011 local CNY movie “Great Day” “天天好天”…during that time was the harvest season for the paddy, and all the paddy was turning into golden yellowish, it suppose to be very nice in the evening, but when we reached there, the paddy field in front and behind the colorful old folks house (base on the story of the movie, the house in between the paddy is an old folks house) were just harvested, left about 2 feet long of the paddy grasses on the field, and it start to turn into yellowish “die grasses”…oh…it seems like way out of my imagination as majority of the paddy field around Perlis are in the golden ripening farm!!! Well, all the prior ideas have to throw away and find the new feel on it…the 1st day we went was quite cloudy and late, as the sunset time was not so amazing as the nearby open burning activity was making the whole scene in smoky white, not really can bring out the “golden” of the paddy field…but we still have some trial with the “emotion dull” mode in the photo. A very big mistake is, we did not arrive the place as earlier as possible to surf around that place to familiar the place, when we found some of the scene which may be a good angle for photographing, but the sky was turned darker, is too bad…
The next day which is the last visit day of Emelyn, with the delay of arrival to the bus station, she misses out the bus on 3pm (I can’t really remember the actual time is), and the next bus will be at 7pm, with this reason, an idea suddenly crossing into my mind that why not we go again the place that we miss out a lot of scene last night? After I told her about this idea, she was quite excited to go that place again…we find a café to have a rest for hi-tea, and she can have some make up at the café before we went to another photo session. As the lesson learnt from yesterday, we arrived there at about 4.30pm, the sun shine was thrilled to way towards west and can create some sort shadows of the evening feel…by walking into the harvested paddy farm, the overall feel like on the journey back to “home”, she just like the girl from town heading back to the cow boy village… the modern fashionable girl bringing the contrast with the golden farm village…how cool is that?!
